What is Lip Blushing?
Fuller lips without the filler
Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the colour and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing pigment into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The colour is subtle to give a natural looking result.

If you have a history of Cold sores, You will need to contact your Pharmacy for a prescription of Valtrex as Lip blushing can trigger an outbreak. It’s recommended to take one dose of Valtrex the day of your appointment and then three days following.
Please make sure your lips stay well-hydrated the week leading up to your appointment. This can be done by gently exfoliating the lips with a white sugar/olive oil mixture homemade 2-3x the week before your appointment and lots of chapstick or lip moisturizer.

What to expect immediately following your Lip Blush procedure:
Intensified colour and swelling are part of the initial stages of healing. Swelling will subside in 12-24 hours post-treatment.
The intensity of colour should regress within 3-4 days. The sensation can be comparable to that of a slight burn and minimal flaking may take place. Refrain from removing the flakes/dryness as you may run the risk of removing pigment in the process - it’s very important to keep the lips heavily hydrated. The true vibrancy of your cosmetic tattoo will fade about 30-40% from what you walked out with revealing a soft and natural blush tone.
-
1. Avoid hot, spicy, and salty foods as it may cause added irritation
2. Avoid sweating, direct sun exposure, teeth whitening, rubbing and smoking
3. Do not pick or scratch the lips as it may lead to a loss of pigment and/or scarring
4. Placing cosmetic products on unhealed lips is heavily discouraged
5. Texture is normal and is often experienced in the first few days of healing
6. Keep lips heavily hydrated with aftercare balm that is provided
